The Longest Day in Big Spring Park

On June 20, Huntsville Young Professionals is participating in The Longest Day, an event to honor the strength, passion and endurance of those facing Alzheimer's disease. From sunrise to sunset, HYP will spend ALL DAY in Big Spring Park to raise awareness and funds for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.

Join us at any time during the day for the activities:

7:00 AM Coffee and Set-Up
8:00 AM Morning Yoga 
9:00 AM Firmbody Bootcamp
10:00 AM Dodgeball and Supersoaker Attack
11:00 AM Dodgeball and Supersoaker Attack
12:00 PM LUNCH 
1:00 PM Dodgeball and Supersoaker Attack
2:00 PM Water Games
3:00 PM Water Games
4:00 PM Water Games
5:00 PM Ultimate Frisbee
6:00 PM Ultimate Frisbee
7:00 PM Evening Yoga 
8:00 PM Closing Ceremony w/ Glowsticks

On-going activities throughout the day include: Four Square ball, Hula Hoops, Lawn Games, etc.

Today, over 35 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including more than 5 million Americans. In the United States alone, more than 15 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia. And these numbers will only continue to rise unless we take action.

Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease they are not alone. Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research and provide care and support to those facing the disease today.
