Ruck It Up with HYP + Titan Forge

RuckItUp

Join Huntsville Young Professionals on Tuesday August 7th at 4:30 for a rucking good workout with TitanForge, Huntsville's new tactical fitness gym. Bring a backpack with some weight in it, join the crew, and move out. It'll be a mix of miles, smiles, and military-style conditioning.

Be sure to bring water and wear appropriate clothing (think of it as an urban hike). The weight in your backpack is your choice. Even carrying your water in your backpack counts!

RUCK•ING [VERB] - Carrying a weighted pack on your back. It implies action, energy, and purpose!

Rucking is a foundational piece of Special Operations training. Green Berets, SEALs, and other high-speed operators are well versed in shouldering heavy rucks through cities, mountains, jungles and deserts, in war and in peace - alone when they must, together whenever possible. Rucking requires strength, endurance, and character - and builds it, too.

Rucking is a perfect way to simultaneously build strength and aerobic capacity. The best part is, everyone can do it. Whether you’re just looking for a way to start getting in shape or want to add something new to your training program, give rucking a try. TitanForge will teach us everything we need to know about rucking and get us outside pounding pavement and exercising as a group, rain or shine.

Please register prior to the event.  Pick "pre-paid guest" to attend the event for FREE.  Registering will increase check-in time and helps with planning.

How this will work:

1. Fill out the interest survey: https://goo.gl/forms/bxsxjEoN0a4HAkgY2

2. Once you've submitted the interest survey, you will be sent the information for the discount code, the team name, and the team invitation to join.

3. Visit gokickball.com/huntsville/ to officially register. Registration is $59.95 (including processing fee) with a $10 discount bringing the cost to $49.95. *** must fill out the interest survey linked above for team and discount codes ***

4. After registering with GO Kickball, HYP will be notified. Once registration closes on March 12th, the HYP team captains will split participants into teams. We expect to have multiple teams.

5. You will be notified of your team, your team color, and team captain via email.

6. You'll be invited to join a secret, closed Facebook group. We will use the Facebook group and email to notify team members of games, practices, and other things.

Games begin March 22nd. There will be 7 games and playoffs. As it is spring, there may be weather delays. If this occurs, the game will be rescheduled.

* This is adult kickball. You must be 21+ to play. *
