Join HYP as we paddle out on beautiful Lake Guntersville for a rare, up close viewing of the bats emerging from Hambrick cave at sunset. Don't miss your chance to see thousands of bats emerge from the waterside entrance of the cave as they begin their night hunt. This unique, one of a kind trip is being outfitted by Alabama Eco Adventures, supplying canoes, paddles, life jackets, and an experienced canoe guide. Come see one of North Alabama's amazing natural occurrences up close, at one of the most beautiful lakes on the state! Did we mention it's supposed to be a full moon that night!
THIS EVEN IS SOLD OUT!
Participants should bring water, snacks, appropriate clothing, sunscreen, and bug repellent. Reminder: this event goes from mid-afternoon through the evening as the bats emerge at dusk.
