HYP's main mission is to connect young professionals to other young professionals and organizations in the area.  HYP, however, is a non-profit organization that is managed by a volunteer board of YPs.  We do not charge  membership fees, and the majority of our events are free. On the occasion that we do charge our members for an event, it is used to cover the cost of running an event.  Any excess is spent on other organizational costs such as insurance, maintaining a website, maintaining an email distribution list, name tags, etc.

Sometimes HYP cross-promotes other events by organizations we support throughout the community. During these select cases, an HYP Board member may or may not be present.
